UND50 2 - 27.   Prehnite on Epidote -  Djouga diggings, Bendougou, Mali. 2 1/4" x 7/8".. In 1993,  Bill Dameron (the ambassador from the US to Mali) brought some very good garnets . My source in the are found excellent prehnite spheres on epidote (mentioned in What's New in Minerals in the Mineralogical Record). According to Rock Currier, the spheres on epidote are simply not being found.
The epidote crystals are doubly terminated.
