I up dated Gallery 13 with mimetite, rose quartz, dioptase, vanadinite, hematite after marcasite, skutterudite, stannite, celestite on sulphur, alexandrite, pyromorphite and others on 2/6/2012.

I updated Gallery 3 with apophyllite, hydroxylherderite, amazonite, rose quartz, jamesonite in selenite, wulfenite, smithsonite, gahnite,  barite, amethyst and smoky quartz, manganese in quartz, tetrahedrite and others on 2/1/12.

I created Tucson 2012 Gallery with the new find of chalcopyrite with siderite and fluorite on quartz from Inner Mongolia;  blue hemimorphite from Mexico; copper from Russia; apatite on muscovite stalactites,  rose quartz crystals, scepter tourmaline,  and uvite on euclase from Brazil; and rhodonite from Peru on  1/30/12.

I created the Tucson 2012 Gallery on 1/23/12. The new find of hematite included quartz is the best and most intense, rich orange quartz that has been found from Orange River and perhaps any location. The hematite is included in a very clear quartz that then is overcoated with clear quartz. The quartz has a superb, gem luster.The new find of effenbergerite contains the best specimens ever found of this rare species with crystals a quantum  leap above previous specimens. The new fluorites are among the most aesthetic specimens
that I have seen.

I updated the Smithsonite Gallery with smithsonite from Mexico, Arkansas, and New Mexico on 1/4/12.  According to Pete Megaw, the mine has depleted the smithsonite deposit in Choix, Mexico.

I updated Gallery 18 with all new minerals including crocoite, dravite, smithsonite from Kelly, New Mexico, cavansite, chrome amesite, grossular garnet, fluorite, torbernite, hydroxylherderite,  siderite  on quartz, clinochlore (seraphinite), gaylussite, powellite, devilline, fluorite in quartz, celadonite in stilbite, topaz after amphibole, rubellite and others on 10/13/11.

I consolidated and added additional savings on the individual  minerals in addition to the 30% discount for the Special Discount Gallery.

I created Denver Gallery 2011 with elbaite, co pper after cuprite and cuprite from Russia,  andradite from Iran. Manganocalcite,
erythrite, barite, fuchiteon/inquartz,  hematite in quartz,   ruby and sapphire, apatite with ferberite and others on 9/27/11.
According to the Russian publication, the Mineral Observer, the copper mine will be through the oxidation zone in six months and the cuprites
and copper after cuprite will no longer be found.Also, the elbaite are very good pieces from the Martin Zinn and Ernie Schlicter Collections.
The erythrite are sharply terminated magenta crystals from the recent find.

I created the Smithsonite Gallery with specimens of turkey fat smithsonite and smithsonite from Arkansas; smithsonite
from Choix, Mexico; and smithsonite from Santa Eulalia, Mexico, on 7/28/11. These tend to be minature to small cabinet  specimens
and from locations that are no longer producing.
